Swedish Equestrian Sport

Sweden has a long tradition of being very successful in equestrian sports. 2016 was another succesful year in International competitions. Rolf-Goran Bengtsson won the Global Champions Tour Showjumping total, after 10 competitions over the year. In the the Olympic Games there was another Swedish showjumper, Peder Fredricsson who succeded and won a silver medal in showjumping with his horse All In.

Started riding pony horse when young and became Swedish Junior Champion in eventing at age 15. Continued on large horse with showjumping. He has won Gold medal in European Championship in 2011, and Silver medal in 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. He also won silver medal in 2004 Athen Olympic Games in team jumping. He has won a 13 individual Grand Prix showjumping competitions.

Briar 899

Briar was the nr 1 ranked dressage stallion in the world during 7 years, 2000 - 2007. He has competed in 3 Olympic Games, 8 World Cup Finals and has won 16 International Grand Prix competitions. Now he is retired and is only used for breeding. At this time he has more than 600 approved offspring.

Sara Algotsson Ostholt

Sara won silver medal in eventing in 2012 London Olympic games and the was part of the swedish team which came in fourth place in the team competition. She also participated in 2004 Athen Olympic Games.
